Pawel Grzondziel shares with us what I believe is his second On Display feature on Armorama. this time he shares with us a diorama titled 'On the way to Dinner', this diorama shows what can be done with the BMW R12 and sidecar from Zvezda in 1/35th scale.

Nice work, some great details and I like the bike and detail work. I would suggest a bit more dirt and caked on mud for better effect.

Goose again ?!
The edges of the road are far too regular, with their unlikely angles.

Hey Pablo, that's no mean feat, holding a restless porker with one hand, whilst controlling the combo with the 'wrong' hand. Well done.

I wanted to get an effect similar to the pictures below. quote]
I had only seen the first image, and didn't know there was a pig.
I'm talking about the beveled, narrow road lining cut precisely at 45 degrees, and with grass growing right along it, but not above or below. Your proto images are of rural dirt roads with growth in the center and sides, but I don't see any beveled edges or growth in such a regimented strip.

Hi Pawel, I think the desired effect can still be achieved without too much effort. If you compare your diorama with your pictures, the dust part of the path seems to be a bit too wide. Maybe you widen the center grass strip of the path a little bit while at the same time shaping the edges more irregular, thus narrowing the dust lanes. The same might be done at the sides of the path. If I may suggest a bit more dust at the lower part of the fence and bike to blend it more into the scenery.
