Rick Cooper shares with us some images of his build of the new IBG 1/35 Bedford QLD. he used the marking for the Polish 2nd Armoured Brigade for this particular example. The build was more or less out of the box, fairly simple, never ran into any real issues. Only real addition I used was to drop a layer of gift tissue paper on the canvas cover to provide something a bit closer to a canvas look.

Hi Rick,
Always nice to see another Bedford. Have you just set the cab roof on? Pic 4 shows a gap at the top or glue, can't tell which.
Did you replace the wheels, as the kit ones are post war?
Nice job on giving the tile some texture.
I'm looking forward to further developments from IBG. I have this one in the pile.
Good to see a Polish Vehicle.
Cheers

Al, Yes, the cab roof is just set on so that the interior is a bit easier to see. Didn't replace the wheels, who makes the correct ones? Thanks for giving this one a look. Rick

Well done Rick...What is your personal opinion with this kit...?

Hi Rick,
Resicast do a cab and wheel set, I think Mirror Models or LZ have brought out some tires and Hussar may do a set too. I think the Accurate Armour set is just the cab but I'd need to check.
It's a real plus for modellers to have this kit in plastic and I'm looking forward to further releases from IBG and seeing further build appearances of the kit.
Cheers
Al
