Thanks everybody for the kind words!
As this is my first serious try in building a vignette, itīs cool to hear you like it!
Danny,
a special thank you!
James,
yes, the tank really looks pretty bright on the pics, this comes from my poor photoskills and a experiment with the Dunkelgelb i tried.
I still like it, but actually it really is too bright.
Dave,
It is the Tasca Luchs which has a movable suspension. So it wasnīt a big deal.
Scott,
thanks!

Very nice dio there. I like the railroad tracks and the broadleaf plants that i saw. What kind of plant is that? Where did you get it?..And, oh yeah...The lizard..i love that. Nice detail. Where did you find that?..

Id read about the working suspension on this kit and its nice to finally see it portrayed. And, well at that. Have to agree with the others .... the rails are really well done. Nice one Markus. Welcome to Armorama .. hope to see more from you.

Thanks boys and girl, I really appreciate all your kind words!
Harrison,
to be honest, the tracks are the only thing Iīm not really pleased with, as the the gravel is way to big and some clamps for holding down the track broke while building on the dio.
Anyway, I learned a lot and will do things better next time.
Mary,
if you mean the small plants on the ground, they were made from thicker alufoil. I just cut the foil to my liking and painted them with the airbrush with some green tones.
The Lizard comes from a DML Set with German Afrika Korps Tanker. Sorry, I canīt remember the number, but itīs the set with the guys having a break .
Franck,
I will definitely show more of my work here on armorama in the future!
Ron,
thanks!

Fantastic dio. Lots of great details. Love it.
How did you make the tracks?

Jesper, Rafael,
thanks a lot for the kind words!
Jesper,
First I painted the tracks black, then I used a lot of pastels in different rust colours on them. After that I applied some white spirit over that to blend the different colors in.
When this dried I applied some more rust colored pastels over them on chosen locations.
After that i sanded the top of the tracks with fine sandpaper and painted them with ModelMaster Iron Metalizer and polished that after drying.
Pretty easy and gives a nice result.
Rafa,
thanks!
