The Black Prince was the last offering in the Churchill tank series, it came in at 10 tonnes heavier than the standard Churchill tank being wider and more heavily armed. The Black Prince was the last of the infantry tanks produced by the British, and by the time these tanks were being tested World War Two was coming to an end and the vehicle never went into production. Only six Churchill Black Prince tanks were completed and today only one remains, the survivor is housed as part of the collection at Bovington Tank Museum and is believed to be the fourth of the six vehicles produced. Matt Flegal has sent in a very large number of pictures with quite a few being taken with a tape measure to assist the scratch builders out there.
