1⁄1St Chamond

The St Chamond is the second fielded French tank of World War 1, the St Chamond had over 400 examples fielded and one of them still exists and is on display at the French Saumur tank museum. As a bonus to the modeller, it's interior is open for examination and photos.

I was just looking at kits on this vehicle today!

Thanks for the photos. Worthy of note is that the Takom 1/35 does not depict the same variant as the Saumur exhibit. Roof, sides, "coning towers" all different. Sparta make a resin kit which is closer to the Saumur tank configuration but not identical. I'm currently building the Sparta kit.
Cheers,
Christophe
