British Army/Royal Marines, Operation Herrick
This superb 200mm scale resin kit has been sculpted by Maurice Corry and depicts a British serviceman on active duty in Afghanistan, equipped with the latest Osprey Mk4 body armour and armed with the 5.56mm SA80 and 9mm pistol. Grant Gellatly painted this figure in particularly difficult MTP, and his version of the figure is now used as a box art.

I was at the Scottish Nationals and entered this category and believe me this blew all the other entrants away. The detail that you can't see in the pictures is mind blowing. Best figure painting I have ever seen.
