Looks good. I'm working on one of my own, just finished with the suspension bits. Those side skirts hide at least half the parts the kit comes with.

Great job! We should all remember that the AFV was never in combat or in the field other than fitting out in the USA so maybe the "weathering" and chip effects etc should not be a lot.

Nice model and excellent paint finish. Not sure a Tortoise ever went to the USA though Dave. One did go to Germany for trials however so I guess you could muddy it up to a certain extent.

Dave, Only vehicles stored in a museum would be without nicks, dings and weather fading. Any use of a vehicle leads to chips. And any vehicle being "demoed" for officials is going to be "parade ready" with nice paint and no damaged parts on it.
Simon What color did you use? I have yet to start mine.

I stand corrected! Thank you fellow Armorama members. I confused this vehicle with the American Super heavy tank the T-28. My fault. I know my tanks but I sure blew it.
