Alright, I gots ta ask! WHY?????? And will Disney be installing one?...

Well THAT looks like fun! Not sure what such a slow roll teaches them (other than remembering to strap in) that common sense won't. I hope they also run more realistic "fast" bumpy rolls with all manner of loose kit flying around, to give them a better taste of the situation...

Ahhhhhhh......I remember my first experience with the rollover trainer very well...it really looked easy until I was upside down suspended by my seatbelt while dressed in full battle rattle, holding the gunner with one hand and trying to get the frickin' door open with the other!!! When I finally released the belt I fell like a sand bag onto the ceiling and got my head stuck. HILARIOUS!

Obvious.. It's the lesser-known 'Heli-dunk' version.... where aircrew and oil-rig workers are flipped-over & dunked in a cold dark swimming pool to train them for ditching in the North Sea, UK. Waddaya mean, it hasn't got rotors?

My experience in the roll over simulator was the MaxxPro simulator. My first ride was with a bunch of individuals who panicked and when they finished the rolling and we began to egress, everyone got out except me because I was in the back and at the angle we were stopped, I was hanging upside down, full battle rattle and my arms couldn't reach the buckle. Our instructor was so furious at them for abandoning a team mate. I just wanted out since I was getting a raging headache from being inverted. All of my subsequent roll overs were great, especially with the death metal music the instructors would play during the roll overs

When I originally senrt this in, I suggested the title "What to do with your Kinetic M-ATV." By that I mean the old out of scale one which is being remedied. I probably won't do it myself, but someone who like the out of the ordinary may want to.

Used to have to do this underwater for the survival course to work offshore, wearing survival suit (Michellin Man), life vest and re-breather, then clamber out of a window designed to be two sizes too small.......hated it.......three fails and you did not pass.

Yeah, I went through the Humvee rollover, or HEET trainer. It pretty much sucked being 6'6", wearing full rattle, and with 4 other guys in it. My biggest complaint was that the training instructors really didn't emphasize how to actually get out of the vehicle by means other than the doors. It was interesting.

I know, I'm bumping this one up from 5 years ago. Thanks for sharing your pictures of this subject. This is exactly what I plan to do
