Byeol Han shares with us some images of his Panzerhaubitze Hummel in 1/35th scale. This is a combination of Dragon Models and Trumpeter products on his part with a nice result. Byeol has utilised and combined the Dragon Hummel initial type model (#6150) with Trumpeter’s field howitzer gun crew (#00425) set, the result is very pleasing to the eye.

The crew busily engaged in prepping the gun is what sets this apart. The only thing that might make this better would be to park it on a dio of an Italian hillside, or in a Russian farm field. Beautiful work, Byeol!!

Great work! I like the vehicle, but I love your work on the figures.

Figures make a fine model into a superb diorama. You really make them come alive.

Thanks to everyone. It was a little difficult to build the figures(some fitting problem, especially the figure which is holding its ear) and deploy them in the fighting compartment. Thank you again for nice comments.

Wonderful work. I do, however, have one suggestion which I think would improve the model: remove the aiming posts from the back of the vehicle. If the gun is in action, the aiming posts would be stuck in the ground in front of the vehicle, not stowed aft (unless you intend the gunner to be direct laying on a visible target). I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but, for me, the presence of the stowed posts definitely detracts from your otherwise outstanding work. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed taking a look.

Haha~ I can understand what you mean. In that point of view, If Tamiya release the Hummel with its full crew, the said problem could be solved easily IMHO. Isn't it any possibility? Thanks.
