stages 3 & 4

These stages deal with numerous deck details and also the running gear. I installed the Pavla wheels at this stage, but upon closer inspection, even with a powerful magnifying glass, I couldn’t tell the difference between these and the ones supplied in the kit! Added to this is the fact that Pavla don not supply a replacement for the spare wheel stowed at the rear of the deck.

The ExtraTech set include some tiny jerry can handles to replace those on the Italeri ones which are moulded solid. They also supply a full set of light guards for back and front, and these have to be seen to be believed! They are miniature works of art, yet go together quite easily. The most difficult part of using them is removing the moulded on ones from the Italeri lights.

stage 5

This is more deck detail, this time including the bumper ropes and cargo sidewalls. I left the rear view mirrors off since these cannot be used with the Goffy set as will be seen later.
