On 25 December 1978, 150.000 Vietnamese troops invaded Democratic Kampuchea and overran the Kampuchean Revolutionary Army in just two weeks. Celebrating the liberation from Khmer Rouge regime and the infamous Pol Pot, the Cambodian people nicknamed Vietnamese soldiers "Army of Buddha".
Tran Tuan Khoi shows us his version of Vietnamese M113, built from 1/35 scale Academy kit, and adds a human touch to the model with NVA Army figures from Paracel Miniatures.

The vehicle, the poses & interactions of the figures, to the mascot on the machine gun,, all of it blends beautifully. Simply outstanding work & attention to detail!!

As the others of said, it's a terrific scene. There's always something compelling about a group of figures clustered together, especially when they are as well done as these. And it's so refreshing to see something other than German!

Not to knock the modelling skills, which are excellent, but the title might be a misnomer as Communist Vietnam discouraged and imprisoned practicioners of Bhuddism.

Again, as with your other build, it's great to see "the other side" of the VN war. Well-done and a good subject.
