Beautiful work Steve! I am doing the French version Char with the same miniart base right now, so very glad to see how nice this came out, really an inspiration. Especially like how the finish of the tracks looks, any techniques you'd care to share??

Chris, thanks for you comments much appreciated. First off by now you will have gathered that this is a great kit even just out of the box, and the easiest tracks to do you will ever find, on that subject the tracks are the most noticeable on this vehicle so I think need done right. I painted mine in red brown overall then added a black wash for abit of depth, next Tamiya metallic grey was dry brushed on followed by another wash. Finely some pigment dust added same as for base to bring the two together. As this was a monoton colour I did some modulation of greys with black and brown washes to blend, hope this helps some. enjoy your build anything else I can help with please feel free to ask.

Thanks Steve! Excellent info. I agree about this kit being a dream to build. I'm just about done with the construction and am looking ahead to the camo and tracks/weathering. I will approach my tracks with your technique in mind. Cheers!
