I decided to try something different, using an old Italeri kit of the Opel Blitz truck. In brief I cut away the rear deck and sides remade the drivers seat using wire, replaced the hood with an etch one and added some wire to the burned wheels, painted with Tamiya paints and finished with pigments, hopefully the pictures show the rest.
I wanted to show the remains of a burnt out truck that had come to the attention of a bored pilot that needed some target practice and hopefully I achieved this. Keep it fun and enjoy.

Nicely done! I personally would have expected pieces after drawing the attention of a Typhoon, rather than a burnt-out hulk, but then it is an impressive hulk. Its also a good use of a rather long-of-tooth kit.

Beautiful work! Picture that in grainy black and white and you have something that looks like the real thing!

Great concept ! Love this idea. There were a very many trucks like this littering Normandy by the end of August.
