Darren Baker shares with us a large number of pictures covering the Willys Jeep. This vehicle is in excellent condition and so he has covered the vehicle in, under and around. This particular vehicle is finished as a Royal Air Force radio car.

Thanks for the photos Darren, its always nice to see the real McKoy, so to speak, for those details that manufacturers ignore, simplify or merely get wrong.

At one of the MVPA shows, years ago, the night shift manager for the Willys production line final inspection in WWII was telling us Jeep owners about what they really looked like leaving the factory.
Most were several shades of OD, oil drips on the fenders from checks, and other minor "defects". He told us the restored Jeeps looked better than the ones he shipped to the Army.
I got to talk to a group of veterans that drove for a motor pool unit that moved supplies in France. One of the drivers looked at my beat up Jeep and laughed that it was in better shape than the motor Jeeps. It seems the 6x6 drivers regularly bumped into the Jeeps backing up.
