1⁄35Winter 1942

This is a diorama that depicts end of winter 1942 with KV-1 tank and Soviet soldiers.
Ground was made with Wilder and AK paints. Ice - melted wax. Snow - baking soda + pva glue + white acrylics.
KV is a Trumpeter kit with metal barrel and new decals. Kill marks - my own idea. Painted with AK 4BO set, weathered with AMMO Oilbrushers and AK weathering products.
Figures are from Russian Tank company, painted with acrylics.

I really enjoyed this. One thought is that the red star on the hat of the fender sitting figure should really be muted down in its intensity. Otherwise I admit I would be hard pressed to do as good a job. Thanks for sharing a magnificent piece.

Yes Sergey this is excellent. Simple interaction of vehicle/figures and nice size depicting all the various aspects of freezing terrain. Well done.
Cheers Comrade

Well done. The figures look great and the railroad track is a unique touch. You captured the cold well.
