Introduction
This time it will be a double build, yes two kits at the same time. I will be building Panda Models 1/35 T-14 Armata Object 148 #PH35016 and Bumerang APC VPK-7829 #PH35-26 (Object K-17.) The Russian Company Uralvagonzavod is responsible for the design and development of the new Russian main battle tank MBT Armata T-14. The Armata will have more firepower than the latest generation of main battle tank T-90. The Armata will be fitted with a new unmanned remote weapon station turret. The T-14 Armata was unveiled for the first time to the public during the military parade in Moscow for the Victory Day, May 9, 2015. The Russia Defense Ministry said the field testing of the new MBT Armata was expected to start in 2014. The first deliveries of the tank to the Russian Armed Forces are scheduled for 2015. A total of 2,300 MBTs are expected to be supplied by 2020. The Boomerang or Bumerang is a new development of 8x8 armored vehicle personnel carrier launched by the Russian defense industry to replace the old BTR family used by the Russian armed forces. During the International exhibition of arms and military equipment RAE 2013 in Nizhny Tagil, the project of the vehicle was showed only for the Prime Minister of Russia. The first prototype of the Bumerang was delivered in 2013. Large production of the Boomerang started in 2015, to replace the BTR-82A and BTR-80 APCs currently in service with the Russian army, with a total of for 2,000 vehicles, in various configurations. In April 2015, the Boomerang was showed for the first time to the public during the rehearsal of Victory Day military parade in Alabino testing range, near Moscow. There is two variants of the Bumerang vehicle, the K-16 APC and K-17 IFV.Comments
Two very nice builds. Well done. I pretty much agree with your overall opinions about these two kits. The T14 is something of a curators egg, good in some parts, bad in others. Fit is generally very good along with some fine and accurate surface detail. The biggest error appears to be that the hull is about 5mm too long, It also lacks a number of upper hull details which do detract from the overall accuracy. Instructions are also frustrating and vague at times. Oddly enough, the Boomerang is a rather good kit, great fit, fine detail and seemingly pretty accurate. It does not even feel like a regular Panda kit, but something from the leading opposition. One I would recommend to anyone interested in the subject.

Nicely done and a wake-up call to the West's military, I'm sure! The Armata looks pretty fierce & effective and I'd hate to go up against it in anything that's becoming long-of-tooth...cool model too!
