NATO and the Russian Federation are at war. A T14 Armata battle tank accompanied by a T15 heavy MICV advance to Russia's western border during a counter-attack against NATO forward units. A 9K330 Tor short-range air defence system provides air defence for the passing armour against any NATO air and missile attacks. A lone Spetsnaz soldier watches as the armoured spearhead races past, probably with a mix of excitement and deep foreboding at the unpredictable events to come.
Although a hypothetical scenario, with the rising global political, economic and military tensions all seemingly on the verge of spinning out of control, a scenario such as this is not out the question.
The Zvezda T14 along with the Panda T15 and Tor were used for this diorama. All 3 were overall very good kits, especially the Zvezda offering. Excellent detail, easy to build and good value make it a great kit. Both panda kits are typical of the brand. Again, good detail and overall fit, but the sometimes vague and confusing instructions leave something to be desired.

Wow, Mark, that is something to behold - It's not easy to coordinate three 1/35 vehicles (and large ones at that) on a diorama base without it looking too crowded but you really pulled it off. And the vehicles themselves! To chime in with Nikos, I'm currently building Panda's 2S6M Tunguska (with many of the same parts as the Tor), so I know what you went through. Anyway, great base, composition, vehicles, painting + weathering and figure - awesome!

Thanks for the positive comments. Some of Panda's previous kits were enough to convert Richard Dawkins to a catholic (or alcoholic), take your pick. But, having said that, some of their more current kits are a significant improvement over the older offerings. The T15 is fairly typical of the older style, requiring a good deal of patience and care to achieve an acceptable result. The Tor is actually a pretty decent kit which has a strong trumpeter feel about it. The new grey plastic is vastly superior to the older sickly green and brittle type they used to use. Best of luck with your build, just make sure you have a bottle of scotch in reach and all will be well.
