1⁄35Sherman Skink

Last year I purchased and reviewed a 1:35 3D-printed resin turret for the Canadian Skink anti-aircraft tank built on the Grizzly hull. Then I built it on a Dragon M4A1 hull (big mistake!) for the AA campaign that ended last November.
The turret was ok, but the old Dragon hull was a real struggle - I'd recommend the Tasca/Asuka kit instead. Still, it makes up into an interesting model!

Nice! I'm doing the exact thing, Dragon hull with the printed turret. Your build will be handy reference.

Hi Jim,
If you are using the old DML hull, you will encounter issues with the turret fouling the splash ring and ventilator. I shaved everything down to get the turret to rotate, but wish that I'd just added a ring of 0.040" plastic as a riser under the turret instead! Good luck.
The one good thing is the DML hull was thick enough at the back for me to file the "grizzly notch" into it without having to add anything underneath.

Great Job! One of my fave Canadian sherman variants. Thanks for sharing this.
