This diorama depicts a heroic counter attack of a Red Army unit during the summer of 1942 somewhere in the southern steppes of Russia. The attack is supported by a Matilda II tank which was quite common in this period as the soviet industry moved to beyond the Urals have not begun to produce T-34s in large numbers yet.
