James recently joined Armorama and wanted to share some braille scale dioramas he has done depicting T-34/85's in various scenarios. The T-34's are from Revell and were all built largely OOB, with metal barrels from RB. Cast effect on the turret was added using liquid poly cement and a stiff brush. The weld seams were added with model filler. Some stowage by Value Gear and Sergeants' Mess. Camouflage netting was made from model filler with tea leaves glued on.
The first city scene shows a tank from the 44th Guards Tank Brigade, Berlin April 1945. The base and most of the figures are by Milicast.
The second city scene shows a tank of the 55th Guards Tank Brigade, Berlin, April 1945. The base is by Black Dog. Figures by Armory, HaT, Orion and Plastic Soldier Company.
The winter scene shows a tank of 17th Guards Mechanised Brigade, Upper Silesia, February 1945. The GAZ-67b jeep is by S Model. The ruins are from Italeri. Figures by Orion, Zvezda and Milicast. Snow by Precision Ice and Snow.
The last scene shows a tank of an unknown unit, Byelorussia, Summer 1944.Figures by HaT, Milicast and Plastic Soldier Company. Tree and grass by The Model Tree Shop.
