The Bronco (35107) ‘US GPW 1/4t 4x4 Utility Vehicle (Mod. 1942)’ is built primarily OOB, as very minimal scratch-building and aftermarket parts were added to this already finely detailed and fun to build kit. The model was painted with Vallejo Acrylics. At this time, there is no weathering to report, as figure and diorama base completion are pending.

Looking good. Don't forget the front bracket that holds the canvas top bow when it's stowed. You can see it in the picture of the Jeep with Mark Clark, just above the front grab handle. The lower bolt also holds on the side protective strap.

Thank’s for pointing that out, Randall! ... Oh well, it’s off to the kit box to scrounge for those missing parts.🔎
Cheers🍺

Wow detail detail, looks the real deal even if sans weathering. Good to see the chinstrap too, it’s a thang ‘o mine. Great job Mike! (p.s. baby, baby, where did our Supremes go?)

Glad top be of help. Jeeps are the one thing I have a lot of knowledge about. I have a 1/1 scale 1944 Willys that I have been neglecting, and will be getting back on shortly.

Hey Randall, the Jeep-master!
I meant to get back to you earlier about the missing front bow brackets. As it turns out, Bronco omitted these brackets entirely in the top deployed version. Their instructions and even the box art show empty holes where the brackets should be. I was considering a little scratch-building, but I managed to find them as a molded-on part of the stowed bows.... clip and clip. ✂️
Thank’s again,

Strange they would leave them off! Maybe they thought the bracket stayed with the bows? Looking forward to seeing your finished Jeep.
