Dan built this Tamiya Sd.kfz 232 built OTB with the figures He painted it as a vehicle of the DAK in 1941. He reports it still is a nice, easy build. Dan used Tamiya acrylics and Vallejo for the figures.

Great job Dan, it’s such a fun kit to build. I’d only suggest a severe dusting if this is in the desert, particularly on the t*res but overall it looks excellent

Was just thinking EXACTLY the same thing, though my suggestion was to fill a container with the chosen dust pigments and then immerse the kit in it. Shake well and display. There were NO vehicles that appeared in North Africa that could possibly be considered clean and dust-free. None. Everything followed another vehicle that was putting out its own cloud of dust while following someone else. They drove dusty vehicles, wore dusty uniforms, ate dust-contaminated food, thirstily drank gritty water. While being tortured by more flies than can readily be imagined outside of a Charlton Heston biblical movie...ugh.
