About Matthew Lenton (firstcircle)
FROM: ENGLAND - SOUTH EAST, UNITED KINGDOM

Earliest model memory is a Super Sabre my grandmother bought for me around 1972. Have always dabbled in painting and making things, and rediscovered doing that with plastic in 2008. Vowed then to complete the 30 year old stash, and have made some progress. Hobby goes hand in hand with BBC Radio 3...

Great job Matthew -especially considering the size of the subject. I always have trouble with scale when painting in that scale and apparently you don't.

Thanks Han and Frank. Frank, my tip: don't move your hands as far, and use much less paint. Otherwise it's the same as 1/35, but quicker and cheaper.

Positively excellent and most impressive video of what looks like a phenomenal model kit. Your attention to detail and finishing are nothing short of what at a model show should be an award winner. Thank you very much for sharing this build with this community. Cheers, --Jan

Jan, good to hear from you, and thank you for commenting. It certainly is a nice kit. I have a feeling that anyone entering this in a show will find themselves competing with at least one other example, such has been its apparent popularity - the first 1/72 armour kit to have its own fan t-shirt.
