Taeuss; all I know is from Wikipedia. It's a regular field piece that entered service in the 1960s.

It was abandoned by it's crew in Iraq after a bomb went off nearby (you can see gouges in the barrel where the shrapnel hit). Marines found it and brought it home folded up in a conex surrounded by dufflebags and had it displayed in front of their HQ until they had to account for it, at which point the museum was able to take it off their hands.

If you search for D-30 122mm walkaround you can find several photo groups, if you are looking for photos in general. Using Cyrillic characters will get even more. KL
