Those language translations are generally done by other users of PostNuke around the world. I am using the newest version (just released) so some aren't available yet (like espanol). So anyways for the most part it does just change the user interface, but some of the areas are language specific. For instance, someone could do a Tips and Tricks article in German. If someone clicks the flag for German, then they would then start seeing that article in the T&T section. Neat huh? I am not sure how deeply I want to support other languages at this point, but if I did get someone who actively wanted to manage (moderate) story, review, and news submissions in another language that would be great. The more the merrier.
