looks good for your first tank;
got one point of constructive feedback tough:
with your next model, try to make the chips much much smaller and aply them on logical places, not just random over the model.
good overal job!

dan: The zimmerit was made with Tamiya epoxy, flattening it against the model with a flat screwdriver and water, as thin as possible (maybe not as thin as I would have liked in some places) and then using a strip of plastic cut from the side of a CD case to do the ridges. This tip was taken from the book "Modeling the Panzer IV in 1/72 scale" from Osprey.
koen: I tried to concentrate the chips around hatches and handles, but I will keep your suggestion in mind for the next tank. Oh and this is my second tank, not first.
Thank you.

Really great work on that Tiger! Impressive zimm, but you have learned from the master (the author of that book is truly a master modeller).
When you start your next braille tank you should consider posting in progress pictures. I would love the see your techniques!

This is very well executed in my humble opinion, nice Zim. I especially like the colours. May be finishing the exaust pipes with a little bit of black pastel ? Guy

Thank you Guy. I did pastel the exhaust pipes, I guess it needs more, you can't really see it in the pics.

Braver man than me Gungadin!
Lovely work, I have the Revell Henschel turret King Tiger kit at home, thankfully that does not have a necessity to have zimm.
I do however have the Taniya 1:35 Porsche King Tiger plus Cavalier resin zimm in my stash also.
cheers
Mike

Thank you David and Michael. Very flattering comments.
Michael, I'd love to see your Revell kit being build sometime.
P.S. Love the sabredog username.
