Gian (Monte) has build a stunning T34/85 in 1/25 scale from Tamiya, placing it in a fitting setting, the tank and surrounding groundwork is full of amazing detail, again showing the craftsmanship of the builder.

this work can now been seen in the On Display section, here is the direct link:

This is the data sheet that I received from Gian about his model:

Quoted Text

Painted with acrylics and weathered with pastels and enamels.

Damaged road wheels and fenders.

Added weld seam on turret and behind idler and drive wheels also replaced engine deck lid with actual screen.

Scratch built engine and transmission and all tarps and bedrolls.

Base wall and rubble is scratched out of drywall, as is fountain base. Scratch built fountain, teller mine in rubble and all shell casings. All cobblestones are individually cut and shaped before put into place, there are over 1200 of them.

Model: Tamiya 1/25th scale T-34/85
Panzerschrek and grenade from Preiser.

The whole model and dio. is fantastic. But what really caught my attention was the road. Best part of it in my opinion. I too would like to know how these were made.

Thanks for a fine dio. and take care, sgirty. :-)
