Hi,
very nice build and weathering.
If I may I would suggest to paint the CITV glass in a kind of transparent blue, that the gunner sight doors are either fully opened or closed but not in between (if I'm correct) and the wheels hubs are painted semi-gloss black.

Looks pretty good--the small improvements you've made have made a good model better. Cheers to a job well done!
Olivier's suggestions are good ones, especially regarding the "doghouse" doors, although using blue for the CITV is really a personal preference (the color varies from ruby red to purple to blue depending on the angle of the picture).

Looks good to me.
Great job and so you are in Europe just look out the barracks window for color.
What kit Tamiya?
I heard smoke works good to for caps

Wonderful model. I think its the Italeri kit. I want to build this but might get the Accurate Armour version.

I agree with your suggestion. But in the case of the Tamiya kit were the blocks are not clear plastic what I do is spray them with silver and when fully dry, I spray clear red over it and then masked them. Rather tedious but the result is quite good

So the Italeri kit can be made into a Desert Storm One straight out the Box?

The AA kit is about 80 pounds but I think its an M1 A2 like this beauty above. I believe the Italeri kit can be made into Desert Storm era from the box but doublecheck with one of these more experienced guys! There is a review of the M1 A1 here:

I could be completely wrong but its a beauty either way!

Nice model man im currently working on the dragon M1A1 AIM and i hope it turns out half as good as yours.
The only niggle i have is the wheel hubs on the real thing are see through so they can easily check the oil level so you might want to try replicate this.
And of corse the citv glass but this has already been said.
Nice one man keep it up.

?? Accurate Armour makes an M1A2?? Think you might be confusing it with the Challenger 2, which they do have a kit of. Similar looking, but different, if you know what I mean...

Just checked and your spot on! I was convinced that I saw it but it was indeed the AA Challenger 2 MBT 'Operation Telic' 2003. I'm an idiot, its not even the same nation for god's sake! I think the excitement at drooling over expensive kits got to me! Do not accept information from ginger people like me

Looks really good. May I suggest chunking the roadwheels a bit. I like seeing chunked wheels even though I rarely do it myself.
