If this were 1/35 i'de say wow nice job given the fact it is 1/72 i am just blown away, absolutely marvelous.

I always think that if a 1/72 model can be mistaken for a 1/35 scale, its a winner. Only when I read that it was a 1/72 did I realise. Great job on the weathering Brent.

Agree -- its a nice weathering job, and wow all the while I thought it was at 1/35.
Would this then be an early Ausf G? -- as it does not seem to have the chinned mantlet?

Same here. I looked at the photos, thought it an ~exquisit~ job thinking it was 1:35, and was knocked down to realize its 1:72!
Just curious, what technique did you use for the worn-off paint, like on the storage bins at the back?

Thnx for the comments.
The weathering (worn and damaged paint areas) is all pretty straightforward - its just done with a small brushes and washes. Gotta admit I was pretty chuffed to get somehwere with a wargaming model, got two other Panthers and 2 251s on the bench at present to finish the unit , I've attached a couple of bonus piccies .......

Its the Early G version kit with the diecast hull, Dragon kit No7205.
