I have to admit, though, that I'm a touch jealous... it's one of the models I've really wanted to build. Having said that, there's still the future.

thanks everyone. i'm planning to build a dio in the future. as for now..they're all stacked up in the shelves and table on display. next time i'll take some pictures of my workroom..it's almost full on all four sides..finished and in progress models. thanks again.

Ed-- would you discuss the color and type paint used? It looks as if the ammo boxes are black. What color arre they? I love the 88 and you did a superb job. thanks DJ

hi and thanks everyone, painting the flak wasn't easy. the basic color is german grey and gunship grey. i hand painted the camouflage with buff color and darkened the edges. drybrushed the metal grey to simulate expose metal. the ammo boxes is a combination of flat black, buff and flat flesh tone.
