I have reviewed Douglas Lee''s now released book "Military Dioramas" which is a very photographically detailed look into Doug''s diorama making process.

Good morning Jim
It should be "bump" for the whole dio section, merely a half dozen posts in 2 days!
I took a look at the book review, and i concur, from the quality of the pictures and the renommé of the autor, this is certainly a superbe guide .
Cheers
Claude

Dear All
I'm a big fan of Doug's especially his own brand of figs, so it's nice to see the publication of this tome - I will have to look out for it in the UK.
I'm interested to note the criticisms levelled at "End of Era", which I'm afraid I share (sorry Doug). Whilst it is aeshetically extremely well realised and a very good example of how to do a dio (in certain respects it is as good as Gandamak), I have some major problems with it's historic accuracy - I could list the anachronisms but I would rather emphasise it's many many (modelling) positives.
Doug you are a star. Keep it coming.
Cheers
Karol
