I am building the Academy M-36. Very nice kit. The interior detail (which unfortunately will be seen only by me prior to putting the super structure over it) contains a nice radio set. Does anyone have an idea as to the color these vehicle radios were painted? I am assuming OD, but they did weird things during WW II with paint colors. Any assistance would be appreciated.
thanks

If it's anything like their M-10 then Academy supply the wrong radio set. I was planning on using the one from Tamiya's M3 half track as it resembles the one in Joe's photo and also the Squadron Walkaround M10.

Joe-- The radio shown is probably the authorized system. Obviously, the photos (which are quite good) show the M-10. I am building the M-36, but I do not see where the system would be the elongated one supplied. Seems to me that the M3 Radio from Tamiya is the correct one to mount as David recommended. I have one of those floating around and will use that one.
thanks
