Greetings folks,
Since there is a flamethrower tank campaign rolling in August, I am trying to determine the kits out there.
Trouble is, I know one of the Academy kits does include a flamethrower. However, as you know Academy offers a multitude of M-113s and many of them carry a multitude of arms. I am suspecting that the kit with the flamethrower is AC1389, that is the "M-113A1 Vietnam Version" that includes the vehicle crew as well as a Vietnamese woman. Am I right?
Or else, which Academy kit includes a flame thrower? Are there any other M-113 kits with flamethrowers in 1/35 scale (styrene please)?

Yes, that is the one to go for, it has lots of variant choices included.
Nice detailed interior too!

Dus is right. Its a nice kit, but there is no interior representing the flame thrower equipment. Not a problem if you are keeping the other hatches closed up

That includes the engine bay, it still has the engine from the earlier M113A2 kit. The radios in the M113A1 Vietnam are also only really appropriate for a 1980s-era M113 too
