This a dio I made for the OIF campain, the title says it all: cleaning up:















the figurines are verlinden, warriors, blast models and trumpeter.
All vehicles are tamiya, with eduard PE sets. The M2A2 has the interior of the older M2 kit built in, with a PE set for the interior.
The burnt out car is MIG's, buildings and wall are from verlinden, street lights and traffic lights are from custom dioramics.
That covers it I think.

Thats a really nice Dio. Lots of action and mini scenes to look at and contemplate. Well done. The only thing missing is all the dust and 130 degree heat!

Can I make some comments ??
The uniform are to clean you should apply some dust from Pastel of from Mig and the shoes are too clean, just dump some desert dust on all the dio
Really great and the Verlinden building (the destroyed one on the right hand side) is really great, I wonderinf to buy one of them do you have progress pics??

Super diorama. One thought - Many of the figures seem a bit to shiny - Try some of MIGs powder pigment - Iraq Sand and a soft brush and give them a once over. Really, deadens the colors and gives an authentic "dusty" look to the figures. One other thought, the Abrams would look more "alive" if you turned the turret towards the source of action instead on straight ahead.

Does jealousy count as a problem?

Did you re-mortgage your home to build this? I've just tried to add it all up! I tip my hat to you sir, well done. I agree with the turning of the turret and the dust. It would go from superb to sublime:0)

hey i know this is painful for you but could you please give me a price estimate of how much that whole dio ccost, so i can estimate how much a dio that size will cost me. Thanks

It's even worse than I thought, 700€ or 936$... give or take a few.This doesn't include paint, glue or tools.
And I've got for about 200€ of unused stuff I bought for this dio... And it took me only a month to build it. Why didn't anyone warn me that this was an expensive hobby?

This was my last post, tomorow I'll report myself at the nearest mental hospital. Or if my girlfriend finds out, the graveyard
