Some time ago there was a thread on AFV Club discontinuing their existing Centurion tank kits and producing new ones. But on eBay all I've seen are the existing Mark 5/1 and 5/2 tanks, with prices comparable to what I've seen in the past, and no sign of any new AFV Club Centurion kit types. Was this a false alarm or what?

AFV Club is apparently ceasing production of only the Australian Centurion Mk.5/1 not all of the Centurions.
The IDF Centurion has still not been released and I have heard rumours of other Centurion versions also in the works from AFV Club.
They can just as easily start up producing the Mk.5/1 again.

Funny, I see no shortage of Mk. 5/1 Centurions on eBay, and the prices if anything are reasonable. Maybe it was just a rumor?
