Jim,
I was wondering if it was just me or if it is the general case that my Swedish emblems are showing up for all of you. I find myself having to Ctrl-F5 to get them to load up properly. I know this is a small item and I can take them away if I want, but it would be interesting to find out...

Maki and Rufus,
Try to do the ctrl-F5 thing and see if you see them then. As stated above when I do that I can see them. It would be interesting to hear if the same works for you.

Oooo Oooo....I know the answer! Bryan (Tin_Can) is an MSN user and currently has a cookie on his system that allows him to pull up the image (just a guess). SItes like Yahoo and MSN do this to block exactly this kind of image server usage. For instance if you clip and paste the image location you will see the Swedish MSN sign-in screen.

Unless of course you are already logged in via a MS Passport or other MSN login.
Brian....if you need me too I can host the images for you on a more accessable server.

Brian,
I also have a more accessible server if you are interested. Email or pm me if interested.

BC,
I don't know whether you would consider this funny (ironic) or not but I can't see your image either now.
When I try your image URL:
http://home.attbi.com/~m1garand1/armyaircrew.gif
I get a "Permission Denied" message. Your ISP could be shutting down these types image calls also. Or maybe just down right now too.

I got that message from work yesterday. But ever since it's been working fine. Strange.

Hmmm, I see everyone's except Brians.
Brian, are you sure you have the correct code thingies before and after the URL's address?
I had that problem at first till I figured out the code thingie placements.

BC,
ISP Web servers are notorious for going down intermittently. If that's what yours is.

Ken,
No I think Brian has it in there right. I am 99% sure it's the reason I specifed above.

Kenc,
Jim is right, I can see the pics if I ctrl-F5 when I get on the site. I want to flash a little of the beauty of some of Sweden's emblems.

Brian, I'd like to see the beauty of Swede's emblems too but, I still see "x" "x" !
BTW, what does Ctrl F5 do anyways? I did it and it just seems to redraw the page...still no Swede images.

Kenc,
The left emblem is the Emblem of the Royal Army of Sweden and and right emblem is emblem of the Helicopter branch of the Army. I am partial to helios and am trying to make all of the helios of Sweden as with all of the armor Sweden has had. At the rate I am going I will be 1003 years old at the time I finish the last piece

Mario,
Images like that can be added (via HTML IMG tag) to either your signature line (for your posts) or to your bio (for your profile - see mine for example). An HTML img tag ussually looks something like this:
Code:
<img src="http://www.siteimageison.com/images/yourimage.gif" border="0" alt="you can describe your image here">
Keep in mind there is a character limit on the signature line so adding more than (2) images is probably not going to work. Or adding along ALT description as I have done in the example up top.
