1. The site loads MUCH slower on Netscape. I don't know why. I only know that my IE 6.0 can load the site in about 1/10 the time as my copy of NS 4.79.
2. Don't expect the site to look good in Netscape. It may not in certain areas. This is the reality, or site statistics (who is using what):
MSIE: 81.74 % (10162956)
Netscape: 4.227 % (525578)
Opera: 0.493 % (61364)
Konqueror: 0.010 % (1270)
Lynx: 8.847 % (11)
Search engines: 0.325 % (40423)
Unknown: 12.81 % (1593153)
I have to design for the 80%+ and not the 4%. You would be AMAZED at what Netscape.com has to do to make their site look just right on all browser versions. Too bad they just didn't make NS work like IE.

3. Submitting Review or other content may yield very unpleasant results if you try to use the "back" link. This will wipe out all your information on the submission page. A good rule for this by the way is to write up your content in Word or another text editor and then paste it in. Why does this error occur? I dunno. The back link is using a javascript function widely used on about a billion web pages. Who can fathom the logic.
4. Image roll-overs for Netscape 7.0 users. You may have noted they don't work. Why? I dunno. Again it's using a widely accepted javascript code that is used on millions of sites. They worked on NS 4.x/6.x. I guess they just figured it was a waste of code and that it was no skin of their backs to remove it.
END RANT.
For those of you using the very trendy Opera Browser I hope you are having better luck. From what I have been told it's working well for the current codebase.
Cheers,
Jim
