How does someone look who died from radiation (from an atom bomb, etc.), and how can one depict such? Thanks.

With more slowly accumulated radiation, I think there wouldn't be so many visible effects, but being pretty near the blast (I presume that's what you're looking for?), the effects will be burns, blisters, skin peeling off, that sort of things.
I did a few searches and found several sites describing radiation sickness and death by radiation, some had pics too.

The picture search phrase "death by radiation" didn't bring up much stuff, but changing it to "radiation sickness" brought up some pretty graphic (and probably much more helpful) material.

I hope these are of help.
Btw, what are you planning, a diorama?

I have eventual plans of depicting what Europe might have looked like if the 1962 Cuban Missle Crisis actually led to nuclear war, based on a science fiction story I read years ago.
I also thought of doing an abbreviated version with Trumpeter's SAM-2 missle on launcher in a revetment and a dead man lying next to the unfired missle.
