We would like to thank all the members, traders, competitors, exhibitors and visitors who turned up to our Nationals ’07 at Duxford, Cambridge to help make it a great day. Thanks to Paul Middleton, other members of the committee and all the local guys who pitched in to help them make the day run smoothly. Most of their vital efforts were put in before and after the show and greatly appreciated.
What an excellent turnout? It was good to meet so many of you, plus your friends and family who turned up in spite of the risk of a repeat of Saturday’s weather. The number and standard of entries on the competition tables reflected the enthusiasm and ingenuity of the membership.
Some overseas visitors commented on how impressed they were with the standard of modelling in the UK. We were well backed up by the traders and visiting modelling groups to add to a day not to miss. See you all next year?
