Does any one know what color the engine and the engine area was in WWII Soviet tanks. I would assume either a light green or white but I really do not know for sure.

Looking over the pictures of recovered vehicles of recent times, I have noticed three colors: White, Metallic gunmetal(probably the paint is missing/removed from the bare metal) and Soviet Green. I think you might also be able to get away with primer (rust red) as well.

For the lazy among us, I would just use Model Master dark green. ...As I did with my Su-100 build...
