Could anyone please tell me where or how I can make some trees an vegitation familiar to Vietnam?
I want to start my Super Jolly Rescue Diorama, but am a little stumped on the plants.
Thanks!

I made the palm trunk by taking a 3/8 wood dowl pin I than took masking tape and wrapped from the bottom up make a few wraps let the wraps get smaller as you get toward the top. than take youre exacto knife and cut around the trunk skip a section than cut another etc. if the tape wrinkles thats fine in fact try to make it wrinkle it looks more like bark.

I used baking clay (clay you cure in the oven). I rolled it out into a snake and cut it to length. I then rolled one end a bit smaller more conical. I then created a hole in the small end for the leaves. I used a dental pick and etched in horizonal bands for the sections of the tree and some vertical etches just for detail.
I used aluminum foil for the leaves cutting it to shape. I used hobby wire as the main vein of the leaves and left about .3 of an inch at the stem end. I glued the wire to the foil with CA. I then bent the wire and inserted it into the hole in the trunk. Depending on the tree I put
four or five leaves bows in.
Color was brown and shades of brown for the trunks and Deep Green and shades of green for the leaves.

You can use regular trees as well. Not everything was a Palm make sure you use dense ground foliage too
