Well where I stand as of yesterday.

I have noticed a few errors that I need to correct.

Think I will try post shading on final coat

Paint is real light different outside then inside.

Thanks for looking

Wow! You really detailed the Tamiya kit very nicely! Looks better than mine. I particularly like the non-slip surface.

How'd you do the non-slip? It looks really well done!

Jeff- Great work. You could add the two lifting eyebolts to the EAPU and
move the grab handle on the left front a little more forward. Hope to see more of this project.

Great looking non-slip surfaces! And also very nice build.

Could you please tell me (us) a little more about this technique of applying the non-slip surfaces? Looks way better and more robust than my attempt.

Thanks in advance and keep on going.

Thank you, Erik. Sounds pretty easy! Now I just have to find something comparable in Germany.

First thanks all.

Yes Gino's idea was a great help.

Thanks Gino.

But used the Dragon kit to apply the masking tape

about 5 hours of it if not more.

Don't think I will be building anymore Tamiya M1's.

My first modern kit so going easy on the build.
The Dragon kit I have it but looks like a build after we get a few more under the Belt.

The kit is kind of well maybe over done.

Too many parts really but a great kit not a week kit that is for sure.

Heck I think about 4 months including cursing

Thanks again all

Yo Lucas if you don't mind what color paint did you use on the Hub Caps?

Looks darn good.

Sure thing, Jeff. I used Polly Scale NATO black for the hubs, then oversprayed them (and the rest of the running gear) with a light coat of highly diluted Tamiya Buff (about 80-90% thinner).
