Hey,
Im no expert on uniforms so I need some help, I want to use the Verlinden figure below as a British officer without any major sculpting.
If it's really not suitable or will need a lot of work i'll get shopping but was hoping to use this guy if possible.
It doesn't need to be 100% historically accurate, just not 100% unaccurate if you get what I mean.

Hi in aword No!. It is a US Soldier from the very early part of WW2 , Jacket is the M41 so it was not used by British officers . hope it helps cheers ian

As Ian says the answer is not without major sculpting. There are some good resin figures out there fro Resicast, Ultracast, Hornet etc, to make a conversion unneccessary.
If you give us some idea of the pose you want maybe someone can direct you to a suitable figure.

Of course it can be used as a British officer, as long as you are happy with only 99.9% of the world believing that he is dressed as a British officer should be. You may have to endure the scorn of the other 0.1%

No worries, I knew it was a long shot! I'm going to hit up the model shops over in Belfast this weekend and see what I can come up with.
