Hi there,
This might be a dumb question...but are there any "standard" Russian pillboxes or bunkers? I have found lots of German ones (mainly on the atlantic wall, of course) But, were there any Russian ones, and does anyone know where to find pictures of them?
thanks!
Steve

from what I have read, the Russians were excellent at digging in,so I think they would have used anything that could shore up a trench or a bunker...I think with the Russians retreating early in the war or advancing later, they used anything, mostly lumber it seems..be creative and use something completely different than normal..

Wow! Thanks everyone! I wanted something different from the usual wood hut for a scene in Russia, and these help a whole lot!
Thanks again,
Steve
