Two lovely models Case! I especially love the dust effect on both. I have never seen an uparmored mutt before. Nice to see something different!

outstanding weathering!!! I see a lot of guntruck models posted here. Are there kits available or are all these scratch built/kit-bashed? SAw a recent article in Fine Scale and the impression I got ws that he scratch built and kit bashed to make his collection

The M35-A1shown here is AFV Club's. It's built right out of the box without using any
aftermarket products. As you can see, it doesn't need any of those things.

There were over five hundred different Gun Trucks in Vietnam. I sure that there was no truck called the Highway Protrol. Most fo the trucks were named after some song or event of the day in the sixties or seventies. Keep a look out for James Lyles' book "The Hard Ride". In it he list just about all Known trucks that served. The model is a great example of the trucks over there. I was a trucker in Nam in the mid sixties. Thanks for having an interest in the Gun Trucks. It helps to let the world know about these men and the service they provided to protect our butts on the convoys. Keep up the good work..
