Yes, fellas .... I'm still alive and kicking! After averaging less than 30 minutes per day at the workbench over the last six weeks I have managed to get the Dragon Thunderbolt VII to a nearly completed stage. I have a bit more weathering to do, but essentially this model is done! Alot of the subtle tones and sheen-changes are lost on these overall pics. Hopefully I can post more detailed images in the next few days.

Thanks for lookings, guys!

Judging from two pics, it looks pretty nice, Mike.

Good to see you back and posting.
Would I be too presumptuous to expect an article?

Dave,
Glad to be back while I can! Yep, a full-build article for this model will be in Model X Issue 2 .... that is, if I can get the story written!

Gday Mike
Have to say I love the finish you have achieved, mate.
Some great dusted weathering...
Couple of things jumped out with your close ups (of course!)
There should only be a red lens on the top oval of the left tail light. The others would look almost black, but have a clear lens (does this make sense?)
Also the metal frame over the axeblade looks to be riding off the surface on the front side...
Good work
Cheers

Thanks for the comments and suggestions! Brad, yes there does seem to be a gap between the hull and ax .... let that be a lesson to all of us to be sure to sand the resin part down completely before installation!!!! Thanks for pointing that out. Also, my Sherman-ignorance also reared its ugly head when I painted all of the rear headlamp lenses RED ... sheesh! I've corrected that miscue, as well. Otherwise, a bit more work and I can shelve this one!

Thanks again,
Mike

What a great job. I like the subtle rusting of it. It truly blends well and rusting is a skill that I am lacking.

This is absolutely stunning. Everything about this tank looks fantastic. The tools, running gear.

I like the small square plates on the back where molded holes were for the spare track shoes. The tools again look so real. The horizontal beam/shelf (for want of a better word) on the glacis plate. And not to forget the added part next to the barrel clamp..... what is it? Is it a horn or something?

Inspiration indeed to get mine done properly.

Thanks very much for setting the bar so very very very high........
