I think Great Models is shipping my Italeri LVT 2. Anticipating the arrival of this kit, I need to know what exterior and interior colors to pint her. The USMC Museum at Quantico (fantastic place) has one in the foyer and she is a uniform navy gray on both the exterior and interior. Any thoughts on the paint scheme?
thanks

Everything I have seen, shows that the interior color is the same as the the exterior color, which makes sense, because of the open top.

Scott- I tend to agree with you. My only hesitancy was first to see if someone came up with an alternative that might be worth pursuing. Apparently not.
thanks again

The interior of the well would be the same color as the exterior (i.e., pontoons, bow, etc). The interior of the driver's compartment would be white however.

The interior is the same color as the outside which in most cases is green. The driver's compartment is white like FirstMass said. There are some great pictures here: www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USMC/USMC-C-Tarawa/

Though most are not in color they clearly demonstrate the point! Plus they might give you some good ideas!!
