Would someone tell me the years of service of the Walker Bulldog. I bought a Tamiya one for only 12 bucks. Pretty good deal?

It was shipped to APG for testing in May 1949, production began in 1951. The T-92 was supposed to replace it by 1962, but it was cancelled in favor of a new amphibious tank project. The M551 Sheridan came into production in 1966.

Bitte, btw the dates listed above are for US use. Foreign countries got Bulldogs later and kept them longer.

Specially the Brazilian Army, they desativated the M47 in late 80īs
The AFV model is exactly the model that were used by the brazilian army. They were updated by changing the motor by a diesel one...
