Ondra: The tree is made with a piece of basswood which was whittled into a point. I then scrapped the wood with a razor saw for the texture. I painted the wood with a dark brown/grey wash.
I then drilled holes in the trunk and glued Hudson & Allen "Pine Boughs" in the holes using super glue.
Here's a link to Historicus Forma. Basically the same method, I just added more branches.
