On RainbowTen I found a few detail bits for Tiger and Panther kits from a company called Zitader Design.
I have never heard of this company, and I can't find a site either.
I tried Zitadel Design, Citadel design as well, but no luck.
Anyone know more?

Hey H, I've recently picked up Zitader's Tiger II GT.B 105mm conversion from Lou Stener here in the UK, he doesnt carry the whole line of products nor are they on his website but an email enquiry would get you a list of what he has.
Oh and looking on the instruction sheet for the item I have has this weblink on it:- http://www12.ocn.ne.jp/~zitader/ it does work although totally in Japanese the pics speak for themselves.

Herbert, I have one of their conversion sets for the 150 mm SPG on the the type 97 tank chassis. Ho ro or Ho ni (?). Its prety good stuff. I haven't built it, but the parts were bubble free with some flash and all straight - it even came with a turned aluminum barrel.
I know they do some off beat subjects. My box has Zitader Designs on it , but as you say some may be under a Citadel label. I purchased mine at Mission Models in LA USA. I don't think he carries the line though.

Thanks Mark, that's the right stuff!
The new Tiger-B engine deck looks promising.
Chris, the pics show a very clean cast product indeed. RainbowTen has it looks like all the Panther and Tiger-B goods in their range.

Glad to be of help, I notice they do the two types of rangefinder bulges too, ideal stuff for a late '45 Tiger B

Saw those too. Only thing is, the July '45 Tiger-B would've had the bulges in a different position. The new turret would have had the horizontal part of the roof extended forward to accomodate the range finder. The turret sides would be extended as well, as the forward sloping area of the roof would be set at a slightly steeper angle.
The bulges would be on the sloping area, so these bulges would still be usefull, or require a little work.
All in all, very intersting stuff to convert a DML Tiger-B into a July '45 one.
I smell a new project coming

Okay, now this is interesting:
Not only the re-inforced mantlet, but it looks like the tube on the MG-ball like it is in the CH Panther-F kit.

Yes it does. That just about settles it for me.
I'd like to see the entire photo and know its source

Same here. This is the first time I see the tube in place of a regular MG-barrel.
Where do they find those pictures? I'm always baffled that your average Joe can come up with a pic, that people like Jentz, Zaloga or others researching German armour have not.

Interesting that the tube appears to be painted in the same color as the rest of the vehicle. Looks like Dunkelgelb to me.

It's a good question. Makes me wonder what else is out there that hasn't been discovered by the experts...

I sent them funds for the tiger II 105mm barrel, I received a message that they received the money on August 8. Today I received the package which is the 19 of August. How great is that.
